Writing Prompt #2

What does the following quote mean to you?  "You don't get to pick where you'e from, but you always have control of where you're going."

This quote has a deep meaning.  Fate chooses what family you come from and how much wealth you are born into, and where you start your journey.  But what you use with what you have can decide what your future will turn out to be. Being in a poor family doesn't mean you're future isn't worth striving for, and being rich doesn't mean it's going to be handed to you.

Writing Prompt #3

What characteristics do you value most in a friend? Explain why they are important.

Characteristics in a friend would include trustworthiness, loyalty, and stupid.  Trustworthiness would fall into me trusting them with something important or secret. Loyalty so they bow to my feet when I do something extra amazing and awesome.  And they also have to be stupid so they aren’t smart enough to talk back or get out of having to do something they are told.  A stupid person is easy to manipulate to your diabolical will, and will prove worthy of an apprentice.  These three things together would be a great example of Dean Smith, because his loyalty to me is unbarring.

Writing prompt #1

If a handful of people can change the world for the worse, then I am certain that a handful of people can change the world for the better.

What will you do do to make this world of ours, which feels so broken right now, a better place?

I feel like this world of ours is full of people that is fully engulfed in the idea of money and power.  The rich and famous can do whatever they want, unless they're Justin Bieber.  The most broken thing about out society is people that get in trouble for pirating music, movies, and games.  Look at Green Day and tell me that pirating fifty songs is going to put them in bankruptcy and is worth 100,000 dollars for doing so. A better place would be the moon because there is close to zero gravity and you can play a mean game of dodge-ball there.
